Samsung added another member to the Galaxy S3 family “LTE”, the new Galaxy S3 LTE variant features quad-core Exynos processor instead of the dual-core that we saw in US Galaxy S3 variant and it comes with the latest Android version 4.1.1 Jelly Bean with the TouchWiz”Nature UX”graphical user interface. But there’s no Android life without the customization and for installation of new MODs, tweaks and custom ROMs on your phone, you have to install a better custom recovery like ClockworkMod and TWRP.

The Android development community has successfully ported the ClockworkMod recovery to the new Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE, the ClockworkMod is a well-known custom recovery for Android devices out there for the installation of .zip files containing custom ROMs, MODs and other tweaks as well as backing up the phone’s firmware and wiping device when you need. Read on how to install ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) on Galaxy S3 LTE GT-i9305, don’t apply on any other mode, you may check your Galaxy S3 model from Setting>About Phone. Before installation you should make a backup of your device data such as SMS, internet setting, contacts music files etc because the below procedure may wipe data, you can sync your contacts with Gmail account and for messages use SMS apps, lastly use file expert app to backup apps.
Instructions Step #1: Download the ClockworkMod Recovery (I9305_CWM_Recovery.tar.md5) to computer.
Step #2: Download the Odin 3 (Odin3.zip) to your PC too, you need it for installation of recovery.
Step #3: Unzip the downloaded Odin3.zip file into a folder.
Step #4: Open the folder where you’ve unzipped above file and run Odin3 v3.04.exe
Step #5: Turn the device off.
Step #6: Reboot the device into download mode, to do so, reboot your Galaxy S3 LTE by holding down volume down, home and power button until you see a warning screen on the phone, then press the volume up button and it will take you to download mode.
Step #7: Once you’re in download mode plug the device to PC using USB cable. Odin will detect the device, ID: COM will change its color and a message saying ADDED will appear. (Note: If Odin doesn’t detect the device, make sure that USB drivers are properly installed on your computer).
Step #8: Click on PDA Button and locate I9305_CWM_Recovery.tar.md5 that you downloaded in the first step (Note: Don’t make any change, just make sure that re-partition is unchecked).

Click on Start button to start installation, once the installation done, your device will reboot itself and you’ll see message saying PASS (Note: If Odin refuse to install the update and show message FAIL, or get stuck, close the Odin and unplug device, then pull out battery from the device for a few
