Notebook keyboards typically ain't big. Even some of the best on the industry can not hold a candle to a quality desktop keyboard that is something MSI is hoping to alter on its the very latest gaming notebook, of course the GT80 Titan.
If you are the kinda prefers the mechanical keyboard, the GT80 Titan will likely be right up your alley as that’s just what it includes.
This is the first gaming laptop which has got a mechanical keyboard, the GT80 Titan features a built-in SteelSeries gaming keyboard set with Cherry Dark MX switches which provide a light, tactile, non-clicky feel in use. It works on the standard keycap having 27mm of thickness, impressive if you think this is also the world’s slimmest as well as lightest 18-inch gaming notebook (it’s seventeen percent thinner & Twenty-two percent lighter than its awesome competitor, MSI claims).
You'll observe right away that this is simply not any ordinary notebook as the keyboard has been relocated on the bottom half with the deck area. The numeric pad on the right-area also doubles to be a touchpad with click on buttons below in accordance with an MSI representative, respectively.
We have been told the GT80 Titan will be available early next year and you will be showcased at CES in January soon. Unfortunately, that is the just information MSI can provide at the moment.
This time, what do you think of the computer keyboard position and layout? For me, it appears extremely (different) as I’m used to seeing the keys positioned higher on the deck to generate room for some sort of touchpad.
